Panic Meet Peace
Welcome to Panic Meet Peace, the faith-based podcast for Christian women who are exhausted from carrying the invisible weight of anxiety. Have you ever cried in the shower so your kids wouldn’t hear? Do you lay awake at night, googling symptoms and fearing the worst? Are you constantly showing up for everyone—your family, your job, your church—but feel like you’re falling apart inside? If you’ve ever whispered, “God, I love You, but I can’t keep living like this,” then you are not alone—and this podcast was created just for you. I’m Ashanti Aisha—a Christian minister, mother, and former anxiety sufferer who once wore the mask of ”strong woman” while secretly battling daily panic attacks. I didn’t want medication, couldn’t afford therapy, and felt ashamed that faith alone didn’t seem to be working. But everything changed when I partnered with God in a new way. In this podcast, I open up about my journey from panic to peace, and show you how faith in God can be more than just a belief—it can be a practical, powerful strategy for emotional healing. Every episode of Panic Meet Peace offers biblical wisdom, real-life strategies, expert interviews, and Spirit-led encouragement to help you silence fear and stabilize your thoughts. You’ll learn how to root and ground your faith, focus your thoughts on truth, protect your peace from anxiety triggers, and take bold, faith-filled action in your daily life. These are the same pillars that helped me—and will help you—build a life that isn’t shaken by circumstances. Here, you won’t find shame, sugarcoating, or surface-level advice. You’ll find biblical truths, emotional validation, and a path to lasting freedom from anxiety—without therapy, medication, or spiritual burnout. Whether you’re overwhelmed, disconnected, or just searching for peace in the middle of a storm, Panic Meet Peace will help you reclaim your joy, reignite your faith, and rebuild a life of calm confidence, God’s way. If you’re ready to stop coping and start conquering anxiety by faith—this is your safe space. Do you struggle with never reaching the end of your to-do list? Does it always feel like you are hurrying to get the next thing done? Have you wondered if it will ever stop?
As someone who wears a lot of hats, I know how easy it is to swept away by all the to-do’s. It is so satisfying to see those objectives move to the “to-done” list. But what isn’t satisfying is the overwhelm, the pressure, and the stress to get all of those boxes checked.
Usually, when we have spent all of our energy doing all of the things, we are left weary and burdened. That’s not fun. But even as I write this, I believe God is calling us to slow down and be present, not just in the moment, but also with Him.
He wants to be the ones to carry the weight of our world on his shoulders. And as you’ll see today, the best place to lay down our struggles and efforts, is at His feet.
May your mind be at ease as you listen. Perhaps today, we can start a new trend. Instead of “busy-moms,” we can be “chill moms.” God loves you and so do I!
P.S. I may or may not have cried severely during the recording of this episode. You’ll find out when you listen!
P.P.S. It’s not edited properly because my computer was not working properly. So…its gonna be interesting.
P.P.P.S. I have prepared a way for you to slow down, and get quiet with God. Register and attend my free Zoom workshop “Hey Anxious Girly” on October 14, 10 am CST, at this link: https://panicmeetpeace.ck.page/heyanxiousgirlyworkshop

Have you ever found yourself panicking, stressing, and getting so exhausted and fatigued over absolutely nothing?
Those panic attacks, which I call “mind thunderstorms,” are brutal. They are most often hidden within us, not shown outwardly, but inwardly, a tornado is happening. Adrenaline and cortisol are running on a rampage through our bodies, sending us into a panic, and away from peace.
Friend, today I want to share with you my story on how I stopped having panic attacks, and a three step method I have learned and applied to prevent them.
Thanks so much for tuning in today! Please leave a review if you enjoyed it, and even if you didn’t. I can’t wait to read your minds! (Figuratively speaking)
As always, please do not look to this podcast for medical advice. I am here to help guide you to peace through faith techniques. This is what worked for me and hopefully, will help you too.

Are you tired of always feeling like your emotions are out of control? Does it seem like you are on an emotion rollercoaster all day?
Our emotions are not bad for us. They are designed by God to indicate change, awareness, and so many other things. But when we let those indicators become our decision makers, we can definitely steer down the wrong path quickly!
Get off the emotion-coaster and learn how to regain control through the teaching in this episode. You are in for a treat!
God bless!

Hi friends! Today's episode is a special one, in that it was totally impromptu and sent by God. I was preparing to record another topic, but as I was praying, God spoke to my heart and said "remind them to hope again."
Hope feels like a forgotten word in a lost world. When you are constantly riddled with anxiety and thinking about the worst thing that can happen, it is difficult to believe for the best again. Though difficult, I still want to challenge you to lean into hope today.
God specifically spoke this into my heart and I believe it was divine intervention for each and every one of you. Lean into hope in God again, and watch God do above and beyond all you ask or think!
I pray you are blessed by today's episode. Thank you for tuning in!

Hi friends. A little transparency here: I'm having some spiritual and mental battles over some of the content I have planned for you. I prayed dearly over today's planned episode, and I just did not feel peace about posting it. So, in it's place, I am sharing a replay of a podcast mini-sode. Let this be your reminder: When in doubt, choose peace. :)
Ironically, the message in this episode is fitting for my current disposition and hopefully, a helpful reminder to you as well. When you don't know what to do, JUST KEEP SHOWING UP.
We often carry so much weight around what we are doing. Especially us mothers and wives. Is it good enough? Am I qualified enough? Did I do all I could today? The endless swarm of thoughts that volley in our mind can leave us feeling inadequate and lead us to thinking we'll never measure up. So when you listen, I pray you are wrapped in the warmth of God's love just as I was when He spoke this to me.
And i just want to leave a gentle reminder here for each of you who might be struggling right now. God does not ask us to be perfect. He only asks us to be willing. <3
Peace.
AW

This one is for all my stretched too thin, schedule fuller than a fly on the fourth of July, overwhelmed, and overworking ladies!!
I think we can all agree that busyness does not equal fulfillment. And yet, we fear that we are missing out on something if we are not saying yes to every invitation. We long for rest and peace, but somehow never make time for it in our daily planning. This has got to stop!
Today we are hitting pause and focusing on the things that matter most. Not sure how? Better click play! Partner with God and find out what means the most to Him, and I promise He will help you define what means most to you too.
BONUS: Taking meaningful action can mean many things to many people, but one thing that will always be meaningful is being intimate with God. Are you struggling to get those chores started? Have you found yourself in a sinking hole of undone things that keeps getting deeper and deeper?
Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. Truth is, we all do it. PROCRASTINATE. We put things off because of how we feel or because it's too daunting for us in the moment to tackle. And all putting it off is doing, is piling it up for us tomorrow, which is already causing you anxiety!
But today, we choose peace. Today, are taking action and making moves. Progress promotes peace, while procrastination promotes panic. No more panic. Let's put on our big kid britches and take our peace back: one step at a time.
Today's episode is all about procrastination, how it's stealing your peace, and how to take action to overcome it.
I pray you are blessed!

Hang in there. You're not alone. I got you!

Hi friends! This month is all about movement, and I realize that some. days it's hard to get moving. Whether it be discouragement, anxiety, or challenges that lie ahead, sometimes we can feel stuck and afraid to move.
But where there is a will, there is a way! All we need is to be willing to move and God can help us do the rest. Today's minisode is a small snippet of a conversation I shared with my good friend, Pastor EricLove (Church on Purpose, Longview, TX) where he shares how his movement got started!
This episode is extremely encouraging and inspiring. Thank you so much for tuning in!

We often tend to overthink just as humans, and what we're doing when we're overthinking is we are trying to break down every scenario in our heads of what could happen or what will happen or what if this happens. We're trying to answer questions about the future that we haven't even seen yet. And it's natural, it's a very human instinct to want to predict the future.
But I want to get you to tap into the supernatural peace that God promises us daily. Today's episode dives deep into 4 practices I use to quit overthinking and maintain peace!
